Abstract
The vortex pump,asatype of low specific pump,is more and more widely used in ship,aerospace and chemical engineering etc. However,the pressure fluctuation of fluid in the vortex pump would cause the vibration and noise of the pump and equipment,which has becomeone of the key issues needed to be solved in the design and application of high-performance vortex pump. This paper analyzed the characteristic of pressure fluctuation of a mini vortex pumpby the method of numerical simulation and experiment,and this paper alsodiscussed a random distribution method applied to reduce the pressure fluctuation. The results show that under the condition of even blade spacing,the blade passing frequency was dominative in the pressure fluctuation,and the pressure pulse amplitudes area was close to the stripper. The study also indicated that uneven circumferential spacing would yield additional frequency in the spectrum compared with even one and reduce the magnitude of the blade passing frequency and the total level of vibration markedly without decreasing the performance of the pump sharply. This paper proves a feasible scheme to reduce pressure fluctuation and vibration in a vortex pump,which is significatefor the vibration and noise reduction of the system with vortex pump.关键词
