生芪降糖颗粒治疗2型糖尿病效果观察
CLINICAL EFFECT OF SHENGQI JIANGTANG GRANULES IN TREATMENT OF TYPE 2 DIABETES

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of Shengqi Jiangtang granules in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.Methods A total of 410 patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into three groups.The patients in group A were treated with Shengqi Jiangtang granules,those in group B were treated with metformin,and those in group C were treated with Shengqi Jiangtang granules and metformin.The course of treatment was 12 months for all groups.Related indices were measured every three months,including fasting blood glucose (FBG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose (2hPBG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),triglyceride (TG),total cholesterol (TC),homeostasis model assessment estimated insulin resistance (HOMAIR),body mass index (BMI),and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR).Results All groups had significant reductions in FBG,2hPBG,HbA1c,HOMA-IR,TG,TC,BMI,and WHR after treatment (F=22.24-512.10,P＜0.05).After 3 months of treatment,group A had significant reductions in FBG,2hPBG,HbA1c,and TG,group B had significant reductions in FBG,2hPBG,HbA1c,TG,and TC,and group C had significant reductions in FBG,2hPBG,HbA1c,TG,HOMA-IR,and TC (F=3.42-224.70,P＜ 0.05).After 6 months of treatment,group A had significant reductions in BMI,WHR,TC,and HOMA IR,group B had significant reductions in BMI,WHR,and HOMA-IR,and group C had significant reductions in BMI and WHR (F-8.80 53.64,P＜ 0.05).Group C had significantly lower indices than groups A and B after treatment (F=3.33-14.81,P＜0.05),while there were no significant differences between group A and group B (P ＞ 0.05).There were no serious adverse reactions.Conclusion Shengqi Jiangtang granules can effectively reduce blood glucose and blood lipids and improve insulin resistance,and the combination of Shengqi Jiangtang granules and metformin has good clinical effect and safety in patients with type 2 diabetes.关键词
