EFFECT OF ENTERAL NUTRITION CONTAINING ARGININE AND LIVING BACTERIA PREPARATION ON THE PROGNOSIS OF PATIENTS WITH HYPERLIPIDEMIC ACUTE PANCREATITIS

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of enteral nutrition containing arginine combined with living bacteria preparation on the prognosis of patients with hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis.Methods A total of 86 patients with hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 43 patients in each group.All patients were given standard treatment for acute pancreatitis;the patients in the control group were given parenteral nutrition,and those in the observation group were given enteral nutrition containing arginine combined with living bacteria preparation.The two groups were compared in terms of the time to remission of abdominal signs (abdominal pain and abdominal distension) and time to recovery of blood and urine amylase levels after treatment;the changes in serum levels of albumin (ALB) and prealbumin (PAB),total lymphocyte count (TLC),and levels of immunoglobulin A (IgA),IgG,and IgM were also compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the observation group had significantly shorter time to remission of abdominal pain and abdominal distension and time to recovery of blood and urine amylase levels (t =2.29-2.62,P ＜0.05).After 14 days of treatment,both groups had significant increases in ALB and PAB levels (t=13.05-25.79,P ＜0.05),and the observation group had significantly higher levels than the control group (t =2.19,5.07;P ＜ 0.05).After 14 days of treatment,both groups had significant increases in TLC and levels of IgA,IgG,and IgM (t =5.20-10.06,P ＜0.05),and the observation group had significantly higher indices than the control group (t =2.33-2.92,P＜0.05).Conclusion In patients with hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis,enteral nutrition containing arginine combined with living bacteria preparation can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms,improve their nutritional status and immune function,and thus improve their prognosis.关键词
