Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of plasma D-dimer in screening out the causes of acute abdominal pain in patients with abdominal artery diseases.Methods A total of 89 patients who were diagnosed with acute abdominal pain caused by abdominal artery diseases in Emergency Department in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2015 were enrolled,and among these patients,53 had acute abdominal aortic dissection (AAAD),27 had acute mesenteric artery infarction (AMAI),and 9 had acute renal artery infarction.Another 89 patients without abdominal pain caused by abdominal artery diseases who were matched for age and sex were enrolled as control group.Plasma D-dimer level was measured for all groups.Results The AAAD group and the AMAI group had a significant increase in plasma D-dimer level compared with the control group (u =2.96,2.87;P ＜ 0.05),and the AAAD group had a significantly higher plasma D-dimer level than the AMAI group (u =2.12,P ＜0.05).Conclusion A significant increase in plasma D-dimer level has an important value in the diagnosis of AAAD and AMAI and may help to screen out these two diseases as causes of acute abdominal pain.关键词
