Abstract

Ag/MoO2 nanocomposites with different Ag contents were synthesized by hydrothermal method , which were anchored on the porous Ni foam to prepare Ag/MoO2/NF as binder-free electrode via the dip-coating method .It was found that Ag/MoO2 nanocomposites consisted of many -10 nm nanocrystals were uniformly loaded on Ni foam with 3D network structure.When the Ag content is 5%, Ag0.05/MoO2/NF electrode has the optimal electrochemical properties .The initial discharge capacity is 1180 mAh/g at a current density of 0.1 C.It was worth noting that the discharge capacity still retains 805 mAh/g after 100 cycles.when the current density return to 0.1 C from 2 C (468 mAh/g), Ag0.05/MoO2/NF electrode delivers a high capacity of 820 mAh/g, indicating excellent lithium storage performance .
