摘要
Abstract
Objective:To study the changes of serum adipocyte fatty acid binding protein (A-FABP) and chemokine CXCL12 levels in the elderly with acute ischemic stroke (AIS),and to explore the correlation between the two indexes and the occurrence and severity of AIS.Methods:Ninety-two elderly patients with AIS in our hospital were selected as AIS group,eighty-three healthy persons for physical examination at the same period in our hospital were selected as control group.Neurological deficits were assessed by using the national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS),glasgow coma scale(GCS) was used to judge their consciousness.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure serum levels of A-FABP and CXCL12.AIS patients were followed up for 3 months, and the prognosis was evaluated by mRS.Results:The levels of serum A-FABP and chemokine CXCL12 in AIS group were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05).There were significant differences in the serum levels of A-FABP and chemokine CXCL12 in patients with different infarct size,NIHSS and GCS (P<0.05).The serum levels of A-FABP and chemokine CXCL12 in patients with poor prognosis were significantly higher than those with good prognosis, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion:The levels of serum A-FABP and chemokine CXCL12 in elderly patients with AIS are correlated with the occurrence and severity of AIS.It mayr be an important clinical index for early diagnosis, condition monitoring and prognosis evaluation of AIS in elderly patients.关键词
