Abstract
Guar gum (GG)was modified by a monochlorotriazine active group (T1S2 )to gain modified guar gum (TSGG).TSGG was used as the printing gum of reactive dyes.The thickening, chemical stability and water-holding ability were studied.In comparison with GG and sodium alginate (SA),the printing effects of printed cotton fabric were investigated.The results show that TSGG has excellent thickening,chemical resistance and water-holding ability.Compared with GG, the paste add-on,color yield and penetration increase by 63.7%,48.7%,33.8%,respectively. The printing effect of TSGG used as thickener on cotton printing is close to those of SA.Evenly colored large patterns and fine pattern with clear outlines as well as the soft handle could be obtained by TSGG.关键词
