Abstract

To screen effective herbicides which are suitable for dry direct-seeding rice field in Sichuan, this experiment selected metamifop, fluroxypyr-meptyl, flucetosulfuron, pyraclonil, bensulfuron, butachlor and benzyl-butyl to screen effective herbicides, and through the investigation of weed species and quantity to study the weed control effect of the seven herbicides. The results showed that 10% metamifop+ 20% fluroxypyr-meptyl EC, 1.8%pyraclonil SP and 35%benzyl-butyl WP had a good control effect on the gramineous weeds and broadleaf weeds. At 30 days, the controlling effect reached above 91% for each plant and fresh weight. Furthermore, they had better safety for rice seedling, and could be popularized and applied in dry direct-seeding rice field in Sichuan. Therefore, 10%metamifop+20%fluroxypyr-meptyl EC, 1.8%pyraclonil SP and 35%benzyl-butyl WP have wide prospect in dry direct-seeding rice field in Sichuan.
