Abstract
According to the daily temperature observation data of 14 meteorological stations in Chongqing from 1951 to 2014, the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of summer high temperature days and extreme maximum temperature events in Chongqing were discussed in detail by using binomial coefficient weighted average and EOF method.The results showed that the high temperature days in Chongqing had sig-nificant interannual and regional differences in the past 64 years.There were four key areas for the anomalous spatial distribution of summer high temperature in Chongqing, which were western, central, northeastern and southeastern of Chongqing.关键词
