Modeling and Control of Three-phase Three-level Power Factor Correction Under Parallel Operation

Abstract
In order to improve the performance of three-phase three-level power factor correction(PFC)converter under parallel operation,an overall mathematical model based on state space averaging method is proposed considering the paral?lel operation on AC side. The path and generation mechanism of circulating currents between equipments under parallel op?eration are revealed,and the relationship between the balance control of DC side voltage and circulating current,the corre?sponding impact factors and the control principle are studied systematically. A three-axis(i.e.,direct,cross and zero axes) control loop is proposed,and space vector modulation technique is used to conduct simulations. Results show that the pro?posed method can achieve a balance of DC side voltage and suppress the circulation currents,which improve the system performance as a whole. Moreover,it is verified that there exists an approximately linear relationship between the control of voltage balance and the suppression of circulating currents when the equipments are under parallel operation.关键词
