Stereotactic radiation therapy combining chemotherapy in treatment of locally recurrent non-small cell lung cancer after radiotheroapy

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of stereotactic radiation therapy (SRT) combining chemotherapy in the treatment of locally recurrent non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) after radiotheroapy.Methods 96 patients with locally recurrent NSCLC were randomly divided into a control group and a test group,48 cases for each group.The control group were treated by conventional chemotherapy;in addition,the test group were treated by SRT.The clinical effects and prognosis of the two groups were compared.Results The complete remission rate and total remission rate were higher in the test group than in the control group (37.5％ vs.8.3％ and 58.3％ vs.22.9％,both P ＜ 0.05).The death rates 1 and 2 years after the treatment were lower in the test group than control group (16.7％ vs.39.6％ and 25.0％ vs.47.9％,both P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions SRT combining chemotherapy for patients with locally recurrent NSCLC is effective and can improve the remission rate and reduce the death rate,so it is a good choice in clinical practice.关键词
