摘要

Abstract

Tapping power from the optical power ground wire(OPGW)of a transmission line is an ideal method to power online monitoring device.In this study,the power tapping principle of OPGW grounded to each tower of a typical transmission line is analyzed,and the possibility of power tapping is discussed according to the electromagnetic induction theory of ground wire of overhead transmission line.Consequently,schematic diagrams of the power tapping and the corresponding power-tapping load wiring are drawn.Example of a single-circuit line is taken to calculate power-tapping load's voltage,current and power using the software EMTP-ATP,and the effects of load impedance,line span,conductor transposition,tower footing resistance on the above parameters are analyzed.Calculation result shows that under appropriate phase current,large power can be obtained for reasonable value of power-tapping load.Finally,a power tapping device is designed and measured on a real transmission line,verifying the work in this study.
