摘要
Abstract
This paper is aiming at improving the mechanical properties of the ductile cast iron by pre-paring three-component ductile cast iron castings with different copper mass fraction using the lost foam casting method. The research involves observing microstructure of ductile iron sample using metallograph-ic microscope;analyzing the effect of Cu on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the ductile cast iron, combined with hardness and tensile test;and observing the fracture morphology of the specimen by scanning electron microscope and thereby exploring the internal relationship between graphite morphol-ogy and distribution of Cu and nodular cast iron. The results show that pearlite has a gradually increasing number depending on an increased copper mass fraction and the copper mass fraction of 0 . 8% gives duc-tile iron sample a better graphite morphology, and a higher plasticity, hardness, strength and mechanical property.关键词
