Abstract
Seismic design methods of coupling beams with a small span-to-depth ratio in shear wall structures are analyzed.Based on seismic performance and construction difficulty of coupling beams with a small span-todepth ratio,this study recommends a method in priority that the size of opening is enlarged so as to increase the span-to-depth ratio of the coupling beams.If coupling beams with a small span-to-depth ratio has to be employed,dual or multi coupling beams are primarily recommended and secondly concentrated diagonally reinforced coupling beams.Finally,according to basic shear mechanism of concrete structures,this study proposes a type of coupling beam with strengthened reinforcement,which provides a reference for similar projects.关键词
