Abstract
Objective To investigate the significance of platelet count changes in the diagnosis of acute intestinal obstruction and its relation to prognosis.Methods The clinical data of 306 cases of acute intestinal obstruction in our hospital from July 2005 to October 2014 were analyzed retrospectively.Among them,246 cases of patients with simpleintestinal obstruction,and 60 cases of patients with strangulated intestinal obstruction.Results In patients with simple intestinal obstruction,there were 21 casesof elevated platelet count,219 cases of normal platelet count,and 6 cases of reduced platelet count;While in group of strangulated intestinal obstruction,there were 39 cases of elevated platelet count,12 cases of normal platelet count,and 9 cases of reduced platelet count.Comparison of cases of abnormal platelet count in simple intestinal obstruction group and strangulated intestinal obstruction group:F =103.48,the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion In patients with intestinal obstruction,changes in platelet counts can accurately reflect the severity of the disease and prognosis.关键词
