Abstract
Aiming at the flow-conveying ability of the open channel for the unpressurized water diversion system of Manweilai Hydropower Station in Cameroun and its hydraulic transient flow characteristics,the relevant characteristic implicit format algorithm and its boundary conditions are educed,and then a simulative model for the analysis on the transient flow of the water-diversion type hydropower station with long open channel is established,furthermore,the transient flow characteristics of the system is revealed in combination with the analysis on the actual engineering case.Compared with the result from a 2-D simulative analysis for comparative verification,it is known that the flow-conveying ability of the open channel is not enough for the rated flow rate of 4 × 112.5 m3/s under the condition of the water level difference of 1.06 m between the reservoir and the pressure fore-bay of the hydropower station.If integrating the hydraulic characteristics of the open channel and the characteristics of the water level fluctuation of the pressure fore-bay,all the control values of the calculation parameters for the guarantee of the adjustment of hydraulicmechanical system can meet the relevant requirements,in which the maximum water level of the outlet of the open channel (pressure for-bay) is 392.362 m,which is lower than the corresponding end crest elevation of 394.270 m of the channel,thus can meet the layout requirement concerned.Both the hydraulic interference and the small fluctuation process of the hydraulic-mechanical-adjustment system can meet the stability requirements with better performances.The calculation results can provide reliable technical support for the engineering design and operation of the hydropower station,while the effective controls on the channel diversion capacity,the height along the channel dyke and the maximum water level fluctuation of the fore-bay can be realized under the premise of reasonable selection of the fore-bay capacity.关键词
