原发性卵巢平滑肌瘤一例临床病理分析
Clinicopathological analysis of one case with primary ovarian leiomyoma

Abstract
Primary ovarian leiomyoma is a rare disease.In this article,we reported the clinical manifestations,pathological characteristics and therapy of one case of primary ovarian leiomyoma.A female patient aged 41 years was admitted due to the chief complaints about a mass in the left uterine adnexa for 3 months.She reported no other discomforts,such as pain or abnormal vaginal bleeding,etc.Physical examination detected a palpable mass of 4 cm in diameter in the left uterine adnexa.The mass had tenacious texture,clear margin and modest activity without tenderness.She underwent laparoscopic myomectomy.Postoperative pathological examination demonstrated spindle cell tumors,which were suspected as the left ovarian fibroma.Immunohistochemical staining results revealed the cells were positive for Desmin and negative for inhibin-a,which were consistent with the features of ovarian leiomyoma.Primary ovarian leiomyoma is a rare benign ovarian tumor,which is likely to be histologically misdiagnosed with other spindle cell tumors.Pathological examination combined with immunohistochemical staining is recommended to confirm the diagnosis.Surgical resection is the primary treatment of primary ovarian leiomyoma.关键词
