摘要

Abstract

The seawater radial piston pump can reduce the amount of the leakage and improve the pump volumetric efficiency by increasing the reciprocating frequency of the single plunger,and is suitable for low speed applications.However,the friction pair of the seawater radial piston pump,especially the micro surface contact pair,is difficult to form hydrodynamic lubrication,which made a higher demand for the performance of the friction material.Several ceramic materials are selected coupling with the 17-4PH.The tribological properties of the materials are investigated by the friction test in the seawater.The experimental results show that the friction coefficient and the wear of ZrO2 are the lowest,and the surface is the most smooth.Therefore,compared with the other three materials,ZrO2 and 17-4PH are more suitable as a micro surface contact pair material.
