Investigation on Drug Awareness and Effect Factors of Patients in the Affiliated People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the drug awareness of rational drug use and effect factors of medication compliance in the Affiliated People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (hereinafter referred to as " our hospital"),so as to promote the rational drug use in clinic.METHODS:103 patients (52 outpatients,51 inpatients) admitted in Mar.2017 were randomly selected as the research objects.Analysis was conducted on patients' general information,medication compliance,effect factors of medication compliance and patients' demand for medication guidance by self-made questionnaire.RESULTS:Totally 103 questionnaires were issued,with recovery of 103 and rate of 100％.Of the 103 patients,males were more than females;patients aged 45 ～65 years old were as common;the literacy were mostly college diploma or above;patients mostly use android mobile phone system and took drugs ≤4 kinds for a long time.The noncompliance rate of outpatients was 80.8％ (42/52),and the data for inpatients was 84.3％ (43/51).There were no statistical significance in medication compliance in different ages and different literacy(P ＞ 0.05).The top three effect factors of medication compliance were respectively no discomfort with no medicine,forgot to take medicine when went out and symptom relief.92.3％ (48/52) outpatients and 88.2％ (45/51) inpatients tended to obtain more medication guidance.CONCLUSIONS:Patients' medication awareness and medication compliance are affected by various factors.The clinical practice should strengthen patients' medication guidance from many aspects,for example,establishing drug consultation window and using Internet and technology,so as to promote rational medication.关键词
