电针联合中药熏蒸对腰椎间盘突出症急性期症状改善的临床疗效观察
Clinical Observation of the Electro-acupuncture Combined with the Chinese Medicine Fumigation for the Improvement of Acute Lumbar Disc Herniation

Abstract
Objective:To observe the improvement of acute lumbar disc herniation by the combination of electro -acupuncture and the Chinese medicine fumigation,and to explore the appropriate fumigation temperature.Methods:90 patients were randomly assigned to three groups,i.e.group A(electro-acupuncture + 43 ℃ Chinese medicine fumigation),group B(electro-acupuncture +35℃ Chinese medicine fumigation),and group C (electro-acupuncture alone),with 30 cases in each group.All the patients received 40mins' electro-acupuncture once a day,Group A and B would get another 30mins' Chinese medicine fumigation,at temperature of 43℃ and 35℃ respectively.The treatment lasted for 7 days.The clinical efficiency,SF-MPQ score,JOA score,and ODI score were evaluated on the 1st and 7th day to detect the therapeutic effect.Results:The total clinical efficiency reached up to 90％ in group A,83.3％ in group B,and 76.6％ in group C,there were significant differences among the groups (P ＜ 0.05).The improvements of SF-MPQ,JOA and ODI were more significant both in group A and group B than group C (P ＜ 0.05);also,compared to group B,group A showed better results(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:The therapy of electro-acupuncture combined with the Chinese medicine fumigation is an effective method to alleviate the symptoms of acute lumbar disc herniation,and preferable therapeutic efficiency can be achieved at the temperature of 43℃.关键词
