Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of scalp electro-acupuncture combined with speech training on Broca language dysfunction after stroke.Methods:60 patients with Broca language dysfunction after stroke were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with single language rehabilitation training;whereas,the observation group was intervened by scalp electro-acupuncture in Broca area of the left hemisphere combined with language rehabilitation training,the course for both groups was 14 days.Western Aphasia scale(AQ) was assessed before the treatment and after 10d and 14d of the treatment.Results:The scales of AQ were both increased after 10d and 14d,and the observation group increased more significantly than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The total effective rate was 96.7％ (29/30) in the observation group,which was significantly higher than 73.3％ (22/30) of the control group(P ＜0.05).Conclusion:Scalp electro-acupuncture combined with speech training can distinctively improve Broca language dysfunction in stroke patients,and the combined therapy is superior to single language rehabilitation training.关键词
