The Origin and Brief Introduction of Lingnan Fire-needling Therapy

Abstract
Objective:To popularize Lingnan fire-needling therapy in clinical application.Methods:The origin and development of Lingnan fire-needling,its clinical functions and operation techniques were summarized by reviewing literatures,interviewing experts,and citing clinical cases in this research.Results:Lingnan fire-needling therapy is a kind of traditional external therapy,which has characteristic of long history,convenient operation,and distinct effect.This therapy is grounded with the theory of "dispersing the fire stagnation".It is mainly applied for dampness and warming diseases in Lingnan area with its five main functions and nine operation techniques.Conclusion:Lingnan fire-needling embodies the easiness,convenience,effectiveness,cheapness of external TCM treatment,which is worth popularizing in clinic.And it will play a significant role in completing the public health service system in China.关键词
