摘要

Abstract

The research status of eutectic carbides in high speed steels under conventional solidification conditions was summarized. The three types of eutectic carbides were discussed. The effects of Si, W, Mo, V, Nb, Ti and other minor elements on the precipitation of eutectic carbides in high speed steel were stated emphatically. The variation of cooling rate on the morphology, size and distribution of eutectic carbide M2C was analyzed. The transformation mechanisms of eutectic carbide during annealing, quenching and/or tempering were demonstrated. Some suggestions for the research on eutectic carbides of high-speed steel were proposed.
