Abstract
The main symptoms of Alzheimer' s disease (AD) show as silliness, stupidity, foolishness in Chinese medicine science. Currently, the main clinical treatment focuses on the body fluid syndrome differentiation. The pathogenies are as following: the stasis of qi, blood, phlegm, blood, fire and other poison obstructing in the body,which leads to a deficiency of qi and blood, yin and yang imbalance, marrow insufficiency. However, six meridian syndrome differentiation system in Treatise on Cold Damage Disease by ZHANG Zhongjing is not widely used. Further development of diagnosis and treatment of AD from the perspective of dialectical analysis of typhoid fever Lesser yin disease could start with the Lesser yin disease in the Treatise on Cold Damage Disease, analyzing the physiological functions of Lesser yin and the relationship of heart kidney and the symptom of foolishness based on the analysis of heart meridian of heart meridian/channel of hand Lesser yin(HT) and kidney channel of foot Lesser yin(KI). According to the above analysis, people can make a conclusion that the symptom of foolishness could be attributed to the cold transformation, heat transformation, and deteriorated transformation of Lesser yin syndrome. Therefore, a new treatment for AD could be developed from the perspective of Lesser yin differentiation.关键词
