Abstract
Type selection design of optical fiber composite overhead ground wire (OPGW)is an important part of design of ±800 kV ultra-high voltage (UHV)DC transmission optical fiber communication engineering.Therefore,considering fac-tors such as electrical property,mechanism property,transmission performance,economy,and so on,and on the basis of studying and analyzing structure type,fiber core type and type core amount of the OPGW optical cable,this paper presents a type selection design proposal for OPGW optical cable and summarizes suggestions under the running condition of ±800 kV UHV DC.Research results suggest to choose two-layer or three-layer stranding structure for OPGW optical cables in ±800 kV UHV DC transmission fiber communication engineering and adopt low-conductivity all-aluminum clad steel wire for the outer layer material.In addition,diameter of the outer layer monofilament should be not less than 3.2 mm and G.652D opti-cal fiber or ULL fiber should be chosen for the optical cable fiber core.关键词
