Application of 3D printing navigation template in cervical pedicle screw internal fixation

Abstract
Objective:To explore and evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of 3D printing and navigation template in the application of cervical pedicle screw intemal fixation.Methods:From August 2013 to June 2015,94 patients with cervical fracture underwent pedicle screw fixation in our hospital were selected,and randomly divided into two groups:traditional pedicle screw internal fixation by fluoroscopy assistant was used in 50 cases (control group),and individualized navigation templates of pedicle screw was used in 44 cases (experimental group).The accuracy rate of screw placement,visual analog scale (VAS)score,Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score,and Frankel neurological function were compared.Results:The accuracy rate of screw placement and the JOA score in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group,while the VAS score was markedly lower (P<0.01).At the end of follow-up,there was a significant difference in Frankel classification between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:Individualized navigation templates of pedicle screw was superior to traditional pedicle screw internal fixation in the treatment of cervical fracture.It could increase screw placement accuracy and clinical efficacy.关键词
