摘要

Abstract

Aiming at the problem of severe groundwater pollution around chromite ore processing residue site,taking chromite ore processing residue site in Jinzhou city of Liaoning province as a research object,and based on percolation and solute transport theory,this paper developed a coupled dynamic mathematical model for simulating hexavalent chromium migration in groundwater system from chromite ore processing residue leachate.The basic parameters of the model such as osmotic coefficient,hydrodynamic dispersion coefficient,adsorption and distribution coefficient and retardation factor were obtained by dynamic soil column experiment.Numerical simulation analysis of hexavalent chromium migration regularity in groundwater for 20 years before the antiseepage measure and for 30 years after the antiseepage measure was done by using Visual Modflow software.The field groundwater monitoring data of water quality was used to provide a quantitative verification.The results indicate that the groundwater from the village near 2 kilometre of the site is polluted in varying degrees before the antiseepage measure,and decrease of contaminant concentration shows hysteresis nature after the antiseepage measure.The simulation results also show that convection and dispersion effect play a major role for hexavalent chromium pollution and migration in groundwater,and the adsorption and desorption effect can not be ignored either.The numerical simulation results agree with the monitoring data more or less,which verifies the model is reliable and practical.The model provides scientific evidence for quantitative study on groundwater pollution in chromite ore processing residue sites.
