Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of levodopa (L-DOPA) combined with multimedia training in the treatment of ametropia amblyopia in children.Methods A total of 82 children (146 eyes) with ametropic amblyopia treated in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a combination group (n=41,respectively).The two groups were treated with multimedia visual training and the combination group was additionally treated with L-DOPA.Six months later,the effects in the two groups were observed.Results The overall response rate (ORR) in the combination group was 95.12％,which was higher than the 78.05％ in the control group (P ＜ 0.05);the ORR in every sub-group of the combination group was higher than that in the control group and the ORR for 6-8 years was the highest;the ORR of mildly,moderately and severely affected eyes in the combination group was higher than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).In the two groups,the higher the degree of amblyopia was,the lower the ORR would be (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion L-DOPA combined with media training system has better effects than simple multimedia visual training therapy in the treatment of ametropia amblyopia in children of different ages and has the best effects for 6-8 year-old children and those with mildly affected eyes.关键词
