Comparison on the distribution of infection status in individual blood donors and group blood donors in Anyang

Abstract
Objective To analyze the characteristics and infection statuses of individual volunteer blood donors and group blood donors in Anyang region,so as to provide evidence-based strategies for recruitment of blood donors.Methods A retrospective investigation and analysis were conducted on 66 407 volunteer donors in 2015.Results Individual blood donors were comprised of 92.88％,while group blood donors occupied 7.12％.When comparing individual and group blood donors,the ALT disqualification rate and ratio of female donors showed significant statistical difference (P＜0.05).The average age of group blood donors were younger than individual donors by 6.91 years.Conclusion Group blood donors in this region are characterized by young age,high education levels,high level of female participation and low disqualified ALT rate.These characteristics are integral to the construction of fixed group blood donors.Thus,group blood donation should be incorporated in the development of blood donation and recruitment strategies of blood donors.关键词
