Abstract
Objective To investigate the role of thromboelastography (TEG) in assessing coagulation status in patients with carcinoma of the lungs.Methods TEG,routine coagulation tests and venous Doppler ultrasound were done to detect the coagulation siatus in 273 patients who were diagnosed with lung cancer in Henan Tumor Hospital from May 2015 to May 2016.The patients were divided into two groups:group 1 was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis and group 2 was not diagnosed with thrombosis,in addition to a control group consisting of non-lung cancer patients with normal lung function.The detection results were compared among the three groups.Results The difference of R values between group 1 and group 2,and grotup 1 and control demonstrated significant differences (P＜0.05).No statistically significant difference was found in the other test parameters among the three groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion The R value in TEG may indicate hypercoagulability and predict the high risk for deep vein thrombosis formation in patients with lung cancer.关键词
