Application of susceptibility-weighted imaging in central nervous system diseases
摘要
Abstract
Susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) is a new technology to enhance contrast in MRI,which uses magnetic susceptibility difference to generate a unique contrast.It is extremely sensitive in discovering blood metabolites,deoxygenated blood,calcification,iron deposition,et al.It has been generally applied in the diagnosis of some diseases,such as cerebrovascular malformation,cerebrovascular disease,brain trauma,brain neoplasm,neurodegenerative disease,neurologic demyelinating diseases and so on.In the paper,the principle and clinical application of SWI in the central nervous system diseases will be reviewed.关键词
