饥饿胁迫下宽体金线蛭苗生长特性研究
Growth Characteristics of Whitmania pigra Larva Under Starvation
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the growth characteristics of Whitmania pigra larvae under starvation stress.Methods:Variation of larvae's body weight were examined under starvation stress when they were hatched from cocoons.Recovery growth characteristics were also observed after feeding at different periods of starvation time.Resuhs:Body weight declined gradually after persistent starvation stress,the body weight of Whitmania pigra larva were grown in negative dependent manner with the starvation time,and the relatively negative growth rates (RNR) increased in periodic.Larvae grew faster than the control group after being starved for 12 d,and grown after being refeeding,but the group prior compensatory growth basically disappeared after starved for 14 d,but they can still grow normally,and in the growth process,the late feeding group could not catch or exceed the normal feeding group.Conclusion:The larvae of Whitmania pigra are more resistant to starvation,and they can grow after long days of starvation through compensatory growth.关键词
