Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical value of laparoscopy technique in the diagnosis and treatment of acute abdomen in the elderly.Methods:Clinical data of 216 elderly patients with acute abdomen from Jan.2007 to Dec.2015 were retrospectively analyzed.115 cases were treated by laparoscopy and 101 cases were treated by laparotomy.Results:The blood loss,the postoperative ambulation time,the recovery time for postoperative anal flatus,the hospitalization time and the postoperative complications incidence of the laparoscopy group were significantly less than those of the laparotomy group (P ＜ 0.05).The blood loss,the postoperative ambulation time,the recovery time for postoperative anal flatus and the hospitalization time of aged patients with acute appendicitis,upper digestive tract perforation and adhesive intestinal obstmction in laparoscopy group were significantly less than those in the laparotomy group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions:Laparoscopy operation for elderly patients with acute abdomen especially acute appendicitis,upper digestive tract perforation and intestinal obstruction is safe and effective.关键词
