摘要

Abstract

The chemical composition,antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of the volatile oil of Artemisia deversa Diels were investigated.The composition of the volatile oil extracted by simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE) method,was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS),and a total of 37 components representing 76.93% in this plant were identified.The main constituents were Caryophyllene oxide (13.72%),Eucalyptol (12.2%),2-Bornanone (11.17%),Caryophyllene (6.55%),endo-Borneol (3.12%),Terpinen-4-ol (2.14%) and Germacrene D (2.14%).The antioxidant activity of the oil was evaluated by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method.The result showed that the oil revealed a certain scavenging effect on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical,and the inhibition increased with concentration of the oil increase.The antimicrobial activities of the oil were separately evaluated against five micro-organisms,Bacillus subtilis,Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus,Bacillus cereus and Aspergillus niger.The oil possessed inhibitory activity against Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus and Aspergillus niger with MIC of 0.25 mg/mL,8.0 mg/mL and 2.0 mg/mL.
