Effects of Radix pseudostellariae Stem and Leaf Polysaccharide Combined with Bacillus Subtilis on Growth Performance, Immune Function and Biochemical Index in Weaned Piglets

Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of Radix pseudostellariae stem and leaf polysaccharide(RPSLP) combined with bacillus subtilis on growth performance,immune function and biochemical index of weaned piglets.One hundred and fifty 25-day-old weaned piglets(Large white × Landrace) were selected and randomly allocated into five groups including control group,antibiotic group,group Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ,with three replicates per group and 10 piglets per replicate.The control group of piglets were fed a basal diet,and other groups were fed a basal diet supplemented with 100 mg/kg tylosin,1 000 mg/kg RPSLP,1 000 mg/kg bacillus subtilis,1 000 mg/kg RPSLP and 1 000 mg/kg bacillus subtilis for 30 days.The results showed as follows:compared with the control group,the ADG in antibiotic group,group Ⅰ and Ⅲ all increased(P<0.01),so did group Ⅱ (P<0.05);the diarrhea rate in all groups decreased (P<0.01);In aspects of IgA,IgG and IgM,the contents of IgA and IgM in group Ⅰ,Ⅱ increased (P<0.05),the content of IgA,IgG and IgM in group Ⅲ increased (P<0.01);In aspects of C3 and C4,the contents of C3 and C4 in group Ⅰ,Ⅲ increased (P<0.01),the contents of C3 and C4 in group Ⅱ increased (P<0.05);In aspects of IL-2,IL-4 and IFN-7,the contents of IL-2,IL-4 and IFN-γ in group Ⅰ,Ⅱ increased (P<0.05),the contents of IL-2,IL-4 and IFN-γ in group Ⅲ increased (P<0.01);the content of TG in four experimental groups significantly decreased (P<0.01);the ALB contents in all groups significantly increased (P<0.01);the BUN in antibiotic group,group Ⅱ and Ⅲ significantly decreased (P<0.01) but decreased in group Ⅰ (P<0.05).It was concluded that RPSLP combined with bacillus subtilis in diets could enhance growth performance,immune function and improve biochemical indexes in the weaned piglets and the effect was better than added separately.关键词
