Effects of Different Stack Height on Sheep Manure Compost

Abstract
Three composts of sheep dung with different stack height(0.6m,0.8m,1.0m)were taken to conduct the high temperature compost fermentation test.The results showed that the high temperature for treatment 1,2 and 3 lasted for 14 d,14 d,and 17 d,respectively,and the temperature of treatment 3 rose the fastest and lasted for the longest;all the treatments had fully met requirements of the number of days to maintain the high temperature based on the national faeces sanitary standards (GB7975-2002).Total nitrogen,total phosphorus and total potassium showed an upward trend due to concentrated effects.C/N of treatment 3 was lower than 20 firstly on d 10,meaning that it was matured faster than the other two treatments.At the end of composting,the total nutrient contents of the three treatments (N + P2O5 +K2O) were 5.95%,5.61% and 6.03%,all of them were good organic fertilizer.After composting,seed germination rate of all the three treatments were more than 80%,and the sheep manure had reached maturity.关键词
