Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of femoral shaft fractures treated with interlocking intramedullary nailing assisted by limited open reduction.Methods Sixty patients with femoral shaft fractures were treated with interlocking intramedullary nailing assisted by limited open reduction.The operation time,fracture healing time and postoperative complication were observed.Results The operation time ranged from 60 ～ 80 min.All 60 cases were followed up for 12 ～24 months.The fracture healing time was 6 ～ 12 months in 50 patients.Delayed union occurred in 10 cases,the patients were bony healed within 6 ～ 8 months after removing of distal locking nails.No incision infection,internal fixation looseness and fracture,nonunion and shortening of the injured limb happened.Conclusions Interlocking intramedullary nailing assisted by limited open reduction is effective method for the treatment of femoral shaft fractures.The fixation has the advantages of short operation time,less trauma,less radiation,faster postoperative recovery and fewer complications.关键词
