Closed Reduction and Percutaneous Cannulated Screw Internal Fixation in Treatment of Patients with Supination Ex-ternal Rotation Ankle Fractures

Abstract
Objective To investigate clinical effect of closed reduction and percutaneous cannulated screw internal fixation in treatment of patients with supination external rotation ankle fractures. Methods A total of 68 patients with supina-tion external rotation ankle fractures admitted during May 2013 and July 2016 were divided into observation group ( n=34 ) and control group (n=34). The control group was treated with traditional open reduction, while observation group was treated with closed reduction and percutaneous cannulated screw internal fixation. Operative time, intraoperative volume of blood loss, hospitalization time and fracture healing time were recorded, and occurrence of complications was observed, and clinical effects and function recovery of ankle joint were evaluated. Results The total effective rates were 97. 06% in observation group and 82. 35% in control group, and the excellent rates of ankle joint function were 97. 06% in observation group and 88. 24% in control group, and incidence rates of complications were 8. 82% in observation group and 29. 41% in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). Compared with those in control group, values of operative time, intraoperative volume of blood loss, hospitalization time and fracture healing time in observation group were significantly lower (P<0. 05). Conclusion Closed reduction and percutaneous cannulated screw internal fixation in treatment of patients with supination external rotation ankle fractures can achieve good effect, little injury to the body and low incidence rate of com-plications.关键词
