摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between chronic periodontitis and cytokine interleukin-8 (IL-8) by literature review.Methods The CNKI,Wanfang database,PubMed retrieval platform and Embase database were searched by computer.The research papers on the level of interleukin-8 in chronic periodontitis were collected.The retrieval time was up to 2016;screen literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria;use Stata12.0 software for meta analysis.Results The level of IL-8 in gingival crevicular fluid in patients with chronic periodontitis was significantly higher than that in normal controls (P ＜ 0.05).In the Asian population,the level of IL-8 in gingival crevicular fluid in patients with chronic periodontitis was higher than that in normal controls (P ＜ 0.05).In the western population,there was no difference in the level of IL-8 in gingival crevicular fluid between patients with chronic periodontitis and normal controls(P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion There is a significant difference in chemokines interleukin-8 between patients with chronic periodontitis and normal controls in the Asian population.Chemokines interleukin-8 may increase the risk of chronic periodontitis.关键词
