Abstract
For the cylinder without sleeve can not meet the design requirements of wear resistance, the thin-wall cylinder sleeve has to been inserted in the cylinder bore. By the addition of modified SiCp to HT250, the rigidity and wear resistance of the material were enhanced. The addition effects of the SiCp were verified by the friction and wear test, cylinder hole deformation test and bench test. The results show that mated with piston ring, the total wearing capacity of HT250 with trace modified SiCp is 2.66μm, significantly less than 3.15μm of the general HT250, slightly less than 2.71μm of the sleeve material. The bore deformation of cylinder made of HT250 with trace modified SiCp meets the design requirements. The key parameters of bench test are superior to that of the cylinder with sleeve.关键词
