摘要

Abstract

The partial discharge of power equipment can easily cause electrical short-circuit fault and the traditional e-lectrical measurement for single-point measurement has limitations in the long-distance measurement.The characteris-tics of partial discharge are analyzed,a kind of fiber ring structure is designed and a partial discharge detection scheme based on the interference principle of Sagnac is constructed. In the laboratory environment,the partial dis-charge of the power equipment is simulated and a partial discharge optical fiber detection system is built. The partial discharge detection is carried out on the fiber with the total fiber length of 8.398 km. The experimental results show that the amplitude of partial discharge is between 0.1 V~1.8 V and the frequency response range is up to 60 kHz at 10 kV voltage level.The research shows that the method has the characteristics of high sensitivity and wide frequency re-sponse range,which provides a new idea for partial discharge detection of power equipment.
