摘要

Abstract

For the urgent need of cabin broadband satellite communication in civil aviation market,this pa-per puts forward a dual-mode solution which is based on Ka-band high throughput communication satel-lites. Various aspects of system design are investigated, including satellite resources choosing, network structure,technological system and airworthiness. The composition and the dual-mode working principle of the airborne equipment are introduced in detail. Finally,several technical indices,which are closely corre-lated with design implementation,are analyzed. The scheme design and the results of technical indices a-nalysis have certain reference value for the application of practical engineering.
