Optimal Boost Voltage Control Strategy of Quasi-Z Source Indirect Matrix Converter Based Induction Motor Drives

Abstract
Quasi-Z source indirect matrix converter is a new circuit topology. Quasi-Z source indirect matrix converter was employed in induction motor drive system and the rotor filed-oriented vector control system was proposed. The optimal boost voltage control strategy of induction motor was discussed ,and a method of calculating shoot-through duty cycle of Quasi-Z source indirect matrix converter when magnetic flux remains constant was given. By selected proper shoot-through duty cycle,the Quasi-Z source indirect matrix converter could produce greater AC output voltage than the line voltage,and the dynamic performance of the induction motor at low input voltage was improved,the power loss of Quasi-Z source indirect matrix converter was also reduced. The simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control system.关键词
