摘要

Abstract

Alkaline metal doped calcium sulfate short whiskers were prepared by hydrothermal method in Ca2+,Na+,K+ chloride electrolyte solution,using purified phosphogypsum as raw materials. The crystal morphology,crystal structure,dehydration temperature and growth mechanism of calcium sulfate short whiskers were discussed. The results show that the crystal morphology of hydrothermal products are crystals with L/D ratio between 3-7 in Ca2+,Na+,K+ chloride electrolyte solution. Among them,under the chloride system of Ca2+,Na+,K+,phosphogypsum mostly converts to CaSO4 ·0. 5H2O,Na2 Ca (SO4)6·3H2O(omongwaite),K2Ca(SO4)2·H2O(gorgeyite),the dehydration temperatures of the crystals are respectively about 161. 2 ℃,259. 4 ℃ and 489. 8 ℃. In this paper,the effects of ionic species on the structure and thermal stability of short whiskers were investigated. The conclusions provide reference for gypsum whisker modification and application in plastics.
