Influence of Cr2 O3 ,TiO2 on the Crystallization Method of Glass-ceramics Prepared by Blast Furnace Slag
摘要
Abstract
CaO-SiO2-MgO-Al2O3 glass-ceramics were prepared by melting method adoping the blast furnace taken from Baotou iron and steel company as the main raw material. The crystallization methods of parent glass containing nucleating agents 2%Cr2O3 ,8%TiO2 were respectively investigated by means of differential thermal analysis(DTA),the Augis-Bennett equation and the Ozawa equation. The resulsts show that the crystal growth indexes can be more than 3 and the parent glass is bulk crystallization when 2%Cr2O3 is added;but they are impossible to be more than 3 for the parent glass added with 8%TiO2 as the nucleating agent,which is surface-crystallization. Therefore,Cr2O3 is appropriaate for glass-ceramics prepared from the blast furnace slag,which can be alone used as the nucleating agent,but TiO2 can't be used alone. The results provide a theoretical guidance for selecting proper nucleating agents to develop diopside glass-ceramics successfully with blast furnace slag.关键词
