Abstract
Objective To investigate value of three-dimensional pseudo-continuous arterial spin labeling (3D-pcASL) perfusion imaging in differential diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction and acute encephalitis.Methods A total of 30 patients with acute cerebral infarction and other 30 patients with acute encephalitis admitted during December 2016and April 2017 were recruited in this study.All patients were diagnosed by 3D-pcASL perfusion imaging,and effects of 3D-pcASL perfusion imaging in diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction and acute encephalitis were analyzed.Results Hyperintense sequences were found in 27 patients with acute encephalitis and 30 patients with acute cerebral infarction,while isointensity sequences were found in 3 patients with acute encephalitis by diffuse weighing MRI imaging.Low perfusion was found in 29 patients with acute cerebral infarction,while abnormal perfusion was not found in the other 1 patient with acute cerebral infarction by 3D-pcASL perfusion imaging.Inequable contour perfusion was found in 27 patients with acute encephalitis,while no abnormal perfusion was found in the other 3 patients acute encephalitis by 3D-pcASL perfusion imaging.In cerebral infarction group,regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) values of cerebral cortex gray matter,hippocampus and lobus insularis were significantly lower (P > 0.05),and rCBF values focus central area and mirror area were also significantly lower than those in acute encephalitis group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in 3D-pcASL detection rate between two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion The 3D-pcASL perfusion imaging shows inequable contour perfusion in patients with acute encephalitis and low perfusion in patients with acute cerebral infarction,and therefore it may effectively help differentially diagnose acute cerebral infarction and acute encephalitis.关键词
