Degradation of Congo Red by catalytic ozonation on CeO2/3D graphene

Abstract
The three-dimensional graphene supported CeO2 catalyst (CeO2/3D GN)was prepared by in-situ oxidationreduction method and characterized by XRD,FT-IR,SEM,specific surface area determination and zero charge point measurement.The factors affecting the CeO2/3D GN heterogeneous catalytic ozonation degradation of Congo Red dye in water were studied.The characterization results showed that:The structure of CeO2/3D GN exhibits a interconnected threedimensional network;CeO2 nanoparticles were well dispersed between the graphene sheets;The specific area and near neutral zero charge point (pHzpc)of CeO2/3D GN were 190.89 m2/g and 7.36,respectively.The experimental results showed that:The decolorizaiton rate of Congo Red solution by the CeO2/3D GN catalytic ozonation systyem was 60.56 percentage points higher than that by the ozonation system;During 5 times of CeO2/3D GN reuse,the decolorizaiton rate of Congo Red solution was 96.50%-98.00%;Under the optimum process conditions of ozone flux 20 mg/min,catalyst amount 1.5 g/L,initial solution pH 7.00 and reaction time 15 min,the decolorizaiton rate of Congo Red solution was up to 94.65%.关键词
