Photocatalytic degradation of cefalexin by Zr-doped TiO2 mesoporous material

Abstract
Zr-doped TiO2 (Zr-TiO2) was prepared by solid-phase synthesis for photocatalytic degradation of cefalexin in solution and characterized by XRD.The optimum reaction conditions were confirmed by single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments.The results showed that:The Zr-TiO2 was anatase type mesoporous material with about 8.12 nm of pore size;The factors affecting cefalexin removal were arrayed in descending order with irradiation time,Zr-TiO2 amount and initial cefalexin mass concentration;Under the optimum reaction conditions of Zr-TiO2 amount 1.5 g/L,initial cefalexin mass concentration 10 m/L,solution pH 7.0 and irradiation time 1.5 h (300 W UV),the cefalexin removal rate was up to 99.46%;In addition,the photocatalyst had good reuse performance.关键词
