高密度弗劳德数热浮力射流特性实验
Experiments on characteristics of thermal buoyant jets with high density Froude numbers

Abstract
In order to study the propagation and surface temperature distribution of the thermal wake produced by a submarine ,the flow formed by the cooling water from the vehicle was simplified and modeled as a horizontal round thermal buoyant jet .Under high density Froude number condition ,a series of experiments were conducted with different combinations of outlet velocity ,pipe diameter and temperature difference between the jet and ambient fluid .The results show that the thermal jet has a larger horizontal distance with the higher density Froude number when the jet reaches the free sur-face .Meanwhile ,the non-dimensional trajectory centerlines for different cases are approximated the same curve .T he peak value of surface temperature rise caused by the buoyant thermal jet appears at the junction of the trajectory centerline and the water surface ,firstly increases and then decreases af-ter the thermal jet starts .The relationship among the minimal dilution ,density Froude number and submergence depth is achieved using data fitting analysis .关键词
