糖尿病是由遗传和环境因素相互作用而引起的常见疾病,以血糖升高为主要诊断依据,是当今内科的多发病之一.在中医学无此病名,根据临床症状,多属"消渴"范畴.糖尿病周围神经病变也是糖尿病常见的慢性并发症之一,是由于长期高血糖引起体内代谢紊乱、微循环障碍,造成神经缺血、缺氧而逐渐发生的.临床表现为四肢远端麻木、刺痛、感觉异常,自感局部发凉或灼热,亦或有皮肤瘙痒.中医分气血两虚、阴虚风动、脾肾阳虚、瘀血阻络4个证型进行辨证论治.
